Moss is a symptom of a poor lawn. Most moss thrives in damp shady conditions, a habitat that poorly maintained lawns offer in abundance. The constant presence of moisture on the top surface of the lawn is usually due to poor drainage, either from compaction or a build of thatch. We use the term “moss control” as moss eradication is almost impossible. We cure the lawn, producing favourable results for the grass and an unattractive proposition for the moss.
Our moss control is a dual action spray which hardens the grass blade and kills the moss it comes in contact with. We will usually recommend scarification post treatment to remove dead moss and or hollow core aeration to punch through the surface allowing water and nutrient ingress and air and soil exchange.
